Judge R A Bucky Thomas

R.A. Bucky Thomas was born in Dothan, Alabama and attended Samford University obtaining his Bachelor of Science in Education.  He then attended Jones School of Law in which he graduated with a Juris Doctor degree.  While attending Jones School of Law he participated in the Trial Competition Team finishing third in the Birmingham Regional Competition.  Bucky also was voted best advocate during the J. Greg Allen Mock Trial Competition.  His team also finished first place in that competition as well.

Bucky has been a part-time Municipal Judge with the City of Mobile for four years.  He further sits as a "special appointed" Judge for Mobile District Court.  He practices law with The Thomas Firm handling misdemeanor, felony, capital murder, and federal cases.  

He is married to Carla Thomas, Esq. and have three boys Colton, Caden, and Charlie Paul.
